We've been helping some new, small businesses and organizations get up and running. For some, we are designing everything from logo to website and social media posts, and others we are helping to create marketing materials and fine-tune writing or editing drafted wording for a website. It's fun and rewarding! Here are five things to think through if you are considering a start-up business or non-profit:

1. Create a marketing/business plan for your next 6 months to a year, so that you are organized and know where you want to go. Along with this, a vision/mission statement should be drafted. We can walk you through an Appreciative Inquiry process to get this done!

2. Create, or have imPRess design, a logo that is simple and catches the eye. Determine a color scheme for your other marketing materials based off your logo. This will help to build your brand.

3. Decide how you would like your website to look, and the main uses--are you selling items? Do you need something very technical or just basic information? (Again, we can help through this process). Remember to keep your wording concise and easy to understand. The website should not look like a book of text! Great images help immensely!

4. Decide your social media plan of attack. Do you need to be on all platforms, or just a few to reach your audience? We can walk you through making this decision as well.

5. Consider what materials you may need for marketing your business or organization. Things like brochures, case statements, pledge cards, business cards, pens, accessories....there are a lot of items you may want to look at for yourself and to hand to customers. We'd be happy to design and price these for you to get things going!

All of these things to consider, and more, can feel overwhelming. Reach out to imPRess today to come on your team and get things moving forward. We can work with your time and budget, so that you are imPRessive from the very start!
